Description Bei der Begrüßungsfeier der Stadt München am 6. Mai 1925, dem Vorabend der Eröffnung des Deutsches Museums, werden die geladenen Gäste nicht nur kulinarisch verwöhnt. In einem Zeitungsbericht zur Feier kann man Folgendes lesen:

»Und als der Abend sich seinem Ende näherte, da erhielten die ohnehin schon mit allerlei Spenden reich bedachten Gäste noch als besondere Erinnerungsgabe einen tadellosen Maßkrug mit der Aufschrift, Deutsches Museum, Eröffnungsfeier 1925. Überhaupt durfte man in diesen Tagen wieder einmal das hohe Lied nicht nur von der Gemütlichkeit, sondern auch von der Gastfreundschaft an der Isar singen.«
